Meet AttractAdria partner: Genos

We are proud to introduce the AttractAdria consortium partner: Genos (Genos), from Zagreb, Croatia.

About Genos

Genos is the largest and most advanced laboratory dedicated to glycan analysis, setting the standard in high-throughput glycomics research. With the capacity for over 50,000 glycan and glycoproteomic analyses annually, Genos laboratory handles the majority of global glycan research.

Over the years, Genos team has grown to more than 50 employees, including 30 PhD scientists, making them one of the largest glycobiology research groups in the world. With a track record of over 300 scientific publications and 40 collaborative projects, Genos expertise extends across clinical research, pharmaceutical development, and biotech innovations.

Beyond analytical services, Genos continuously develops and refines glycan analysis methods for diverse sample types, ensuring robust, scalable, and reproducible results. Their validated procedures for IgG and plasma glycan analysis have become routine in the field, reinforcing their role at the forefront of glycobiology.

Alongside work in glycomics, Genos has a rich history in DNA analysis. Founded in 2007, the Genos DNA & Forensic Laboratory was the first private DNA laboratory in the region and continues to be a leader in human and animal genetic testing in Croatia. Finally, epigenetics laboratory has been officially part of the Genos Research Laboratory since 2022 with the primary focus on unraveling the complex epigenetic regulation of protein glycosylation.
